Theft Alert:
Theft Alert. On October 9, 2007 between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM a home in the 1200 block of West 9th street was burglarized. Actors took several laptop computers, $200 in change, and $4,000 from a safe.
Actors entered through an unlocked door and went to the second floor to ransack drawers.
Residents of the 1200 block of West 9th street noticed a young man carrying a duffle bag in the neighborhood Tuesday evening. Several thefts have occurred when residents left their homes to go to the store, laundry mat, etc.
Residents are encourage to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the Erie Bureau of Police.
